Anti Slavery Policy

Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

The Friends of St Clement Danes Church (FSCD) is committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking are not present within our organisation or our supply chains. We uphold the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and strive to promote ethical practices.

Our Commitment

  1. Zero Tolerance: FSCD has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms.
  2. Awareness and Training: We educate our staff, volunteers, and trustees on the signs of modern slavery and the actions to take if they suspect it is taking place within our operations or supply chains.
  3. Due Diligence: We conduct due diligence on our suppliers and partners to ensure they comply with anti-slavery laws and uphold ethical standards.
  4. Reporting and Accountability: We have procedures in place to encourage the reporting of concerns and protect whistleblowers. Any reports of modern slavery will be investigated thoroughly, and appropriate action will be taken.

Our Actions

  • Risk Assessment: Regularly assess the risks of modern slavery within our supply chains and operations.
  • Supplier Engagement: Work closely with suppliers to ensure they understand our expectations and comply with our standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Review and improve our policies and procedures to address modern slavery risks.
