As I write my final message, I do so with a heart full of gratitude and deep affection for
the community of St Clement Danes. It has been an honour and a privilege to serve as
your Resident Chaplain, and as I now prepare to hand the baton on and take up a new
posting within the Royal Air Force, I carry with me many cherished memories of ministry,
friendship and shared purpose.

St Clement Danes holds a unique and vital role as the central church of the RAF, a place
where heritage, worship and service converge.  In this sacred space, we are continually
reminded of our calling, not simply to reflect on the past, but to be, in the words of Paul’s
letter to the Romans, "Small working models of new creation." Because of Jesus and
through the Spirit, we are signposts of hope and renewal, active participants in the divine
story that is still unfolding.

None of this ministry would be possible without your continued generosity, support, and
engagement. Whether through your donations, your attendance at services and events,
or your prayers – thank you. You make St Clement Danes not just a building, but a living
testimony to faith, service and community.
